Morning fellow crafters. How is your new month going? Mine is going good. I want to show you a few cards I made in 30 minutes, I am really liking them. Please feel free to let me know what you think of them.
I am entering my new creations into a few challenges. I find by entering challenges and following sketches I can make something I truly like. With out the 2 I am all over the place and don’t like the end.
For my first card I used the sketch from CreativeInspirations
and I am also entering my creation into her challenge. Woohoo thanks for the sketch.
I just covered a blank white card with light green paper. Followed by a blotchy yellow with light blue on top. The bird is a stamped image I received in a swap so I am unsure of the stamp name. sorry.
challenges:
The second card I used a sketch from a event on FB called Monthly Sketche Challenge. The even is good till april 30th. You should come and check it out and enter a creation . If you need me to I can invite you but I would need to add you as a friend and invite you. I dunno why I cant just link you but I tried and it told me to log in.
Here is this sketch
I used a blank white card and inked around it with pink ink. I then used a pale pink colored paper with glitter all over it (came that way) cut a little smaller. The vase of flowers I received in a die cut swap also in FB. I matted the flowers to off white card stock and inked the edges with pink. I put 3 strips of self adhesive ribbon from KI Memories behind my flowers. Ribbon is called joyful simple – 9209 is the number for it. I added 3 small flower gems on the end of the ribbons. At the bottom I used a stamped image I got from a swap. The saying says “ time spent with friends is time well spent”. I really love this card.
I am also entering this creation into these challenges.
Great take on the sketch, thanks for joining us at Creative Inspirations.
