Army Love

Hello again!!

Today I want to share a project I created for my Bestie. He is an Army Veteran.
I purchased the svg file over 2 years ago and can't seem to remember from where.

I loaded the svg into design space and sized it. Cut it out using black vinyl. I then transfered them to the glass front of a antique looking photo frame. I put cream/white cardstock inside so you can read the it.

The word is LOVE.
L = army boot
O = grenade
V = 2 bullets
E = dog chain and tags

I gave it to my bestie as a friendaversary gift. He loved it.

Diamond Painting ~ Truck

 Hi, How are you doing?

Are you getting any crafting done? I sure hope so. Taking a little time out for yourself is important.

Today I want to share another diamond painting. This one was for Father's Day. I gave it to my PaPa (dad). He loves old cars and trucks, so when I seen this one I had to get it for him.

The colors was a little tricky but nothing I couldn't figure out. I framed it in a black 11x13 frame I had sitting around.

Have you tried Diamond Painting yet? Do you like it?

Diamond Painting.

Hello, How are you all doing? I know I have been MIA but I am back and ready to create with you.

Before I share any new things, I would love to share with you some things I have been doing while gone.

I have gotten into Diamond Painting. Has anyone else or is it an old fad? I like it.

My very first diamond painting I made a huge Elvis for my mom. That is her man. She has loved him since he first came out. I had no idea what I was doing but I went right in and made it happen. took me roughly 6 months to complete.

I finished him off with a wooden frame I salvaged from a ugly dollar store print.

I also made my mom a Elvis hanging plaque. I bought a Elvis die cut from a local scrapbook store years ago. Having no idea what I would ever do with it, I decided I would take a wooden plaque from Michaels and use it. Painting it purple and white (mom's favorite colors) and adding GLITTER also. Topped it off with a purple and white string to hang it with.

Hope you have enjoyed your stay today and will come back to see what I have for you tomorrow.

Friday feature

Can you believe it's already Friday?

How about were 2 days from Mother's Day?   I can not.

I am here to share a ATC I made for a swap. Rules was ATC, Mother's Day theme, book page background and word Mother or Mother's Day.

I chose to shorten my word to Mom, I mean its the same thing right?
I used Lisa's Flower Garden stamp set. I inked the edges with a turquoise ink and also traced the word
MOM in the same ink.
I colored the flower in with a pink and green high liter. Darkened the flower with black marker.

Have you used any of Lisa's stamps yet?  If not you should.

I used a white cardstock. Stamped with CTMH black ink. Colored with Spectrum Noir markers, LG4- IB2 - GB3.  Inked the edges with blue ink.

I am entering this in to the following challenge:

Flower card

Hello, how are you today? Great I hope.

I am here to share with you a card I made. I tried to follow a sketch

to enter into there challenge. As You See It Challenge. Also Spring flowers and a die cut for Cut It Up Challenges.    I'm  digging the print and cut features our machines have today.

I want to also include it into the AAA Cards- game #62 - anything goes.

On to the card shall we?

I used a white card base and ripped a piece of scrap paper to put on the top. Before gluing it down I put a piece of yellow yarn behind it to form the knot. I cut out a "button" from a piece of glittery pink paper. I traced around the torn paper, the button and the flower, which is Miss. Kate Cuttables freebie for the day.

I think it turned out great. I didn't put a sentiment on it so I will be able to use it for any occasion I want.

Crazy Good Crazy

Hello again, I seem to be on a roll today.

I am back with another challenge card.

The challenge is CAS(E) this Sketch.

I love the simplicity to this sketch.

I turned the sketch sideways. Inked the edges in black. Used 3 different washi that was the came colors, Black and white.

Come on over and play along. You will love playing with this sketch.

sketch cards

Hello again, How is your weekend going?

I wanted to come back today with 2 cards I made for a sketch challenge.

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #43 is the one. I loved the sketch they used.

I made my 2 cards for some swaps. Anything goes spring and anything goes mother's day.

I used a white card base and inked the edges. I then used scrap paper for the middle. I traced around the middle paper with a coordinating pen. I inked both sentiments in watermelon on white cardstock. Put a red solid washi on the heart card and a soft purple with dots on spring.

You can see with the spring card I put the sentiment up top. I didn't want to cover up the gorgeous butterflies.

Very cute, Very simple.

I want to also enter my cards into the following challenges:

1. AAA Cards- Game 62-anything goes
2. StampinRoyalty- Challenge SR#324 anything goes
3. Creative with stamps- challenge #1 butterfly
4. Simplylessismore -  1 layer

Happy Anniversary

Morning, welcome to another Friday. I hope your day is full of laughter, cheer and love.

I am here to share a card I made. I used some hearts from Lisa's stew the snowman.

I used a heart embossing folder from darice and made a background with white. I then glued it on top of black cardstock. I then used the hearts from stew and cut 3 in different sizes. I glued only the middle so they look free. I then took a scrap of black and white and using a thin sharpie I wrote Happy Anniversary. I rounded the corners on both papers. I then glued it on my card.

Simple but sweet.

Until next time. Have a wonderful week.

One Cute Chick!

Hello Friday. Hello Friday. Hello Friday. Hello Friday. Hello Friday. Hello Friday. Hello Friday.

Man oh man has March been busy. My dear grandpa passed away. My mom and I drove over 1200 miles to attend his service. We stayed roughly 5 days and then followed my sister and her family back to my place in Florida. They spent 8 days here with us. Needless to say soooo much has happened in the past 17 days, I haven't had a chance to create.

I found time this morning at 3 am.

Here is what I came up with.

I used the one cute chick stamp from Sunsational Stamps. I just love this cutie with her chick. I know you will to.

I used a long piece of scrap paper that is orange. It has flowers and a bird on it. I found some unsticky washi in glittery silver chevron and some chicks. I had to glue them down. Gluing the chicks on top of the silver then silver on to the paper it was down. I inked the edges of my image in pink and layered it a little over the washi. Cut this out and glue it to the top of a long scrap cardstock. Folded the other end, cut a little off and I had my cute card.

I ended up making 2 identical so I wouldn't have any more scraps left. lol.

So, what do you think? Do you want to purchase this cutie and make some of your own? She comes with free shipping right now. Check it out here.

L.E.A.P Blog Hop

http://scrapsbygracie.blogspot.com/.../02/leap-blog-hop.html

Welcome to Scraps by Gracie's Leap Blog Hop. You should of hopped on over from Anna's Blog.
Have we got a hop challenge for you today. Take the letters LEAP and create any paper     crafting project; a card, a scrapbook layout, a journal page, etc.

Here is the trick....whatever you make must use L-E-A-P in it somewhere.

  For example:
A lavender (L) card with embossing (E) and angled (A) with prills (P).
Get it. So who is up to the LEAP challenge. Throw a frog into your project and you've leaped right off the lily pad.

   Now on with the projects...

Today I am bringing you a card. I chose Lace, Embossing , Antique lamp and Purple to      complete my LEAP card.

It was rather tricky finding something that would go together and not clash. It was fun though. My embossing says thanks In different languages. I just tied the lace around the  embossed part. Raised the antique lamp up with a few foam dots on top of the lace. I used    pink ink to go around the embossed part. Make it stand out a little.

   On to my card.

I hope you enjoyed your visit. I am the last on this hop.

Today's hop is kindly sponsored by

http://www.onlinecardclasses.com

Passion 2015

Good Morning, how are you doing?

I was here for a blog hop, I've been prescheduled a while. It's only 8 am and something happened , making my post not post. Anyways I've been kicked from the hop because I wasn't live. Oh well, I took out all the hop info and will leave you will my project.

I used a sketch to make a  2 page layout for my nieces wedding.

I just love this sketch. Worked awesome for my creation. I will be using it again.
Now on to my creation. I used scrap paper, ribbons, die cuts, washi tape, ink, stamps, chipboard.

Was pretty simple to make when you have it already made in your head.

Have you made any wedding pages? I'd love to see them.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope I inspired you some.

Have a wonderful day.

Love

Welcome to this amazing Friday.. It is presidents weekend and that means no mail Monday.

That's ok because your not going to need any mail when your creating with Sunsational Stamps.

Today I am here to share my Friday Feature.

I took one piece of a digi and made a whole totally different project.

The piece that I took is the heart from Woo loves you. I had fun with this project.

I used  a regular white card base. Traced the heart onto a double sided paper and cut it out. I alternated stacking them. The LOVE is a piece of washi tape and so is the pink polka dot.

See that's it. simple and sweet. I am giving it to my grandma for valentines day.
