* Martha Stewart score board
* Cricut paper trimmer
* Scissors
* Scotch pop up foam squares 1/8" thick
* Flower ribbon
* Baby digi
* Nana's nursery baby boy mat stack
 * We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board

Although I used a boy paper pack, It can also be for a girl.

snowman easel card

Good morning, I wanted to  share with you my very first easel card. It is a snowman one. Let it be known I have never made one of these types before. Always looked to challenging to me. I tried today, all day, to make this. He is a file from Creative Kuts over on facebook. You can also find her store right here . Cheryl, the owner, was a big help to me .

I know someone who loves snowmen and I am going to give my snowman to her.

Let's get on with the show shall we?

I used a JPEG of the file and cut it all out by scissors. I couldn't get the cricut to work because it was not cutting up and down like I had it, instead it was cutting everything side ways. I wasted so much paper that way.

Let's just say it like this Snowman 4 - Me 1 .

I got so mad at him he won't lay flat, I glued his toes to the base. I used 2 Christmas stamps I had in my stamp stash. There nothing special, just from Michael's dollar bin.

I am entering my snowman into the following challenges before this post gets to long and he melts to a puddle.

* Decorate to Celebrate- challenge #86 - anything goes
* Through The Craftroom Door's challenge- Anything goes
* MilkCoffee- lot of layers (he is all layered)
* Creative fingers challenge blog - challenge #53- anything goes

Thanks for stopping by . I can't wait to see yours.

File Folder Halloween Card

Can you believe it, Halloween 2014 will be here in just 19 short days? It's true, it will be . So since we don't have to much longer I want to share with you a new card I made. It is called File Folder Card and you can find the tutorial I used right here. It was super easy and I will be making a different themed one as soon as i am done with this post. How fun is that?

Here is all the supplies I used to create my file folder card.
* Martha Stewart score board
* Cricut paper trimmer
* Scissors
* Acrylic block
* Scotch pop up foam squares 1/8" thick
* Black archival ink
* Orange and black embroidery floss
* Wonderfully Wicked stamps from craftin desert divas
* Doodlebug Design 6x6 paper pad Halloween Parade
* We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board

I used black card stock as my base. Used the doodlebug paper as the front cover. The paper was double sided.  Using the envelope punch board I made it look like a file folder. I then took the thread and made a bow. I got out a piece of white card stock and stamped the witch and the saying and then popped them up with the foam squares. Inking the edges with the same ink I stamped them in. Ops I used the punch board again to round the corners.

A simple but fun card to make.

So what did you think of my card?

I am entering this into the following challenges.
* Decorate to celebrate- challenge 85 - anything goes
* Through the craft room- anything goes
* Milk Coffee Challenge - lots of layers
* The crafters cafe - challenge 85 - black + orange 1 +  color
* Creative fingers challenge blog - challenge 52 - anything goes

Lets see what you make and enter into these challenges .

My Bois

Today I wanted to introduce you to my bois. There names are bucky and leo and they are my precious parakeets. Bucky is green and got his name from bucking us when we tried to pick him up. Leo is yellow and he got his name from the month I got him.

These bois are so loving. They love to chirp in different tones to music, wrestling, you while your on the phone. They love watching tv. In fact there chirping softly now as they watch tv.

I made a LO of my bois and want to share with you.

I used a light blue as my background. On the left I tore a sheet of white in half and used the decorated part. I outlines the white butterflies with green and yellow gel pens. I put a small piece of fabric sticking out of the white piece. Made 3 brown hexagons above the photos and outlined in the green and yellow pens also.. I rounded the corners of paper and photos. I took the green pen and made some lines and dots around things. Stuck a poofy butterfly into the center of one of the white ones. Using rub-ons I made my title to say My Bois.

Shall we see the bois now?

Life is so sweet digi l

Hello, how are you doing on this fine day? Good I hope.

I am here to share with you a digital LO I made using a cute humming bird  from . He is just the cutest little thing, or i think he is. Works well with any colors and also with digital or traditional paper.

I used the colored humming bird I colored and used on a card before. this time I took him into My Memories Suite and put him onto a background paper. Matted my photo.I then found some flourishes for the corners and add the words that come with the humming bird, and there you have it .

My digital creation:

Let me know whatcha think.

Happy Birthday Lo

My friend Mary, whom lives across the street, has a daughter whom just turned 8 at the end of August. Mary sent me the only photo's she had of the special day and I finally got them in my order. So not wasting any time I scrapped them. I am going to take it and the extra photos and also the drawing Kiara made her tomorrow.

Let's get on to the LO shall we?

I used a sketch I found online.

I then found this Tic-Tac-Toe challenge .

I chose to go diagonal and use the 3 photos, a sketch and bling.

Only thing that was not in my stash for many years was the photos. I am so thankful I was so able to use up some stash items.

I am also entering this into the following :

* Creative Fingers Challenge-49- anything goes.

rain, rain, go away....

It has been raining all day and night and it doesn't seem to be stopping. What can a girl do in all of this rain? Can't go anywhere because when it rain's my  car looks like it is sitting in a gigantic puddle and my shoes get wet way above them. SO what else can a girl do you ask?

So that's just what I did.

I'm a part of a swap called LOTW . It means you can chose a word you would like others to create for you. Then you chose letters of the other ladies words that you want to do for them. They pick the size of the letter, the colors, the theme and you create it.

So I am going to list the names and letters I did,with the theme.

Names:                                                      Letter:                               Theme:

* minions                                                  i                                         minions
* McIssaccs                                              s                                         minions
* pre kindergarten                                     t                                         school
* abigail                                                    b                                         bling
* kindergarten                                           r                                         school
* South Dakota                                         k, o                                    red/gold leaves
* swofford                                                 S                                       to match a LO she posted
* birthday                                                 i                                         lions, giraffe, zebra
* sunshine                                                 s                                        sunny
* bear paw                                                p                                        carnival
* valdez                                                    e                                        alaskin fishing
* sadie                                                      a                                         dog
* lucy                                                       y                                         dog
* shyann                                                   n                                         artist
* karinna                                                  r                                          butterfly

Following the list above you should be able to figure out the letters.

I used all scraps of paper, cricut craft room for the letters, stencils, gems, ink pads, ink pens, markers, tag with tickets on it I received in a swap, stamped images of butterflies from a friends wife, leaves from a ruined wreath and clip art.

Took me several hours to complete these. Hardest part was matching colors and themes.

What have you been working on ?

Hi, I wanted to share with you a card I made for a dear friend and his wife. They just finally got the keys to there own home, after trying for so long. They are very happy and I am equally happy for them.

I used a free house card i found while reading Facebook.  I went and read about it and checked with a few others she had, decided on this one.

I used a blue card stock as the card because there new home is blue. I glued down a piece of white scratch paper to the inside of the top so that way you could see the card. Using some make-up sponges and ink, I colored in a little bit on the white paper. Wrote on the out side and inside with a white marker. I really like how it turned out.

Shall we move on to the card now?

I hope they are equally happy to receive it.

Frozen - Elsa

Good morning blogland. I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I am here to share some frozen gifts my niece and I made for Rhiannon, our neighbor. She just turned 8 and her party was Frozen themed. I didnt get to finish my LO but I will be back later today to share that.

I made a simple card using a digi of Elsa from Frozen (I will link you once it is placed in the store) from sunsational stamps. . I used white as my card  base then added  a pink embossed happy birthday piece on top. Using pop dots I placed Else on top of the pink. Inside I stamped happy birthday. Put a small crochet flower in the corner and used some self adhesive lace at the bottom.

Simple but cute.

My niece Kiara also made a card using Anna,

After Kiara got done making this Anna card, she hand drew Elsa and put her in a frame.

 I believe she did an awesome job.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out Frozen.

Please stop by Sunsational Stamps and get you some fun digi and stamps plus svg's.

May Your christmas Be a Sweet One.

Good afternoon my friends, how is your August going? Mine has been BUSY. I am unsure of where July ran off to but it sure seems like August is going with it. I am here to share a card with you.

I have a lovely crafty friend on FB named Vera. She loves Christmas in July and getting Christmas cards. So her and I send each other a hand made Christmas card. "May your Christmas be a sweet one" is the one I sent her.

I am on the DT for Sunsational Stamps , so I used one of there new stamps on my card. You get the image and the title as one file. I think this stamp set is so cute. You can find the stamp I used here.

I used a red and green ultra fine sharpie for the title. Altering colors as I went on. I colored the tree and ginger bread man in with gelly roll in pens, they have a lil shimmer to them. The trunk is just a brown pen I had (only brown pen I own). I colored and outlined everything in a ultra fine black sharpie. Used a silver gelly roll pen for the 3 bands on ginger bread man. the star and ornaments I used Stickles. The stickle colors I used are Starry night, Candy cane, Waterfall, Platinum, Fruit punch and glitz stickles in sequins. I pop dot'd the title off the page. The snow flake paper I used as the background is 8 1/2 x 11" and had no name on it. I inked the edges with versa color - 25 cardinal ink.

Let's move on to the card ,shall we.

Here is the very beautiful Christmas card I received from Vera, her daughter Jeni made it. I JUST LOVE IT. Thanks Vera and Jeni.

Thanks for stopping by and please come check out sunsational stamps.
