Happy holidays card,

Good morning America. Coming here before I go to surgery to share a card I made. It was a dryer sheet card. Very simple and easy once you got your focal point picked out. I used a free image I found on the net.

I used this simple tutorial except I didn't use glitter. Wouldn't stick to the sheet or thru it .I added a light green ribbon on the left, using a textured circle to thread the ribbon thru. The circle can be moved from top to bottom and any where in between.

Here is my card.

Hope you liked my simple yet cute card.

Must go get 2 hours of sleep before my surgery.

Have a wonderful day.

Joy Fold Card

Good morning, I wanted to pop in real quick to share with you a new card I tried tonight. It is a joy fold card and is for a facebook swap. I have never made this type before and it was soooo soooo easy. I found this video on Youtube to teach me.

The rules for the swap was Christmas, blue, white and silver. I chose a darker blue for my base. Cut up a 6x6 piece of cloud paper for the "matted" pieces. I found a few digi's on the net and printed them for my focal point. I hand wrote a sentiment on the inside.

Shall we see my joy fold card now .

Did you like it? I know I sure do.

I am entering my joy fold card in the following challenges:

* scribble and scrap crafts - anything goes
* 613 avenue create - anything goes
* inspiration destination - anything goes
* brown sugar challenge blog- anything goes
* sister act card challenge - anything goes

Burlap stocking

Morning, I wanted to share with you today a stocking that me and my neighbor friend Judy made. I helped her with design and ideas, she cut and sewed it all with her sewing machine. She also made the pink burlap flower. THANKS BUNCHES JUDY FOR TEACHING ME HOW TO USE BURLAP.

As you probably already guessed, this was for a swap called Stocking and ornament on Facebook. We had to make a stocking and also include a hand made or store bought ornament. We also had to chat with our partner, Jackie Lodge (very nice lady), about whether we wanted to fill the stocking or not. We agreed to fill it.

The stocking, the hanger, the flower and the polka dot wrap is all  burlap.

Here are the photos of a lovely stocking that Judy and I made.

* full stocking-yes it is long*

*stocking folded up*

*top and hanger- button has bells on it*

*gorgeous burlap flower with heart button*

*a few goodies I included in it*

Now don't you agree the stocking is beautiful?

Have you made any stocking for your family or friends?  If so I would love to see them.

Autumn Side Step Card

Coming to you today to share a Autumn side step card I made today. It is for a swap and i'm hoping she likes it as I do.

I started with looking for side step card tutorials or images on the net. I found this one among others so I chose to use her instructions.

I then searched for free fall / autumn digi's. Found several but chose to use the following.

Give Thanks sign , green leavesacorn ( i colored it in with paint) , pilgrims . I inked as much as the base as I could with brown. Also inked the paper for pilgrims with the same brown. Used yellow as my base color.

Here we go to the photos.

Didn't take too long to complete, took longer designing it.

So what do you think? Have you made any side step cards? I'd love to see if you have.

6x6 family themed mini

Hello there, how are you doing ? I am very frustrated with "swappers" lately. I been in a few mini album swaps and I am following the rules and the ones I get in return are not following any rules. It's rather frustrating.

The album I'm about to share is a 6x6 family themed mini. The one I received is just 10 pages, no covers at all. Holidays spent with family theme.  There was no way to even bind it so she sent me the 2 rings. As you will see mine has 2 covers and a tie to close it.

Anyways on to my mini. It's not your normal 6x6 mini. It is all folded into itself. I love it . I included tags, pockets, photo areas, sayings, drawings and more. I really hope she likes this mini.

The first two photos are the pages I received.

The following photo's are of my album.

There you have my 6x6 family themed mini, hope you enjoyed it.

ATC'S

Hello , how are you? Great I hope. I'm coming with you today with a trade type thing.

First I have 5 hand made rose ATC's that I just made. The backgrounds may or may not be different then photo. The rose's will all be done the same.

What you do is post below that you would like one. Then you have to go make 5 ATC's and post them for others to get. Every time someone takes one they then need to offer some. Should be pretty simple.

Second I have 5 hand made red bird ATC's that I just made. The backgrounds may or may not be different then photo. The bird's will all be done the same.

Third I have 5 hand made blue bird ATC's that I just made. The backgrounds may or may not be different then photo. The bird's will all be done the same.

You can choose one of all 3 but then you need to make 3 different kinds. Which would be 15 total.

Let's see how many ATC's we can share around the world.

Tea Bag Holder

Hello fellow crafters, how is your November starting off? Mine is still super busy with appointments. Hopefully soon they will be over. I really can't wait.

I wanted to share with you a holder I made tonight for tea. No I don't drink it nor do I like it, but someone I know does so they will get this holder for Christmas. I had to borrow 4 bags of tea as I don't have any. LOL . Thanks goes to my neighbor Judy for sharing the tea packets with me.

So I have had a envelope punch board for over a year now. Never opened it until I was in a file folder card swap. I had no idea how to make one so I searched YouTube and found that among other things. Like this tea bag holder . I followed this video by PootlesPapercraft. It was pretty easy as she shared the measurements on her own blog.  She shows you in Inches and Centimeters.

Let's get on with the show. Here is my Christmas Tea Bag Holder.

Supplies:
* score board
* envelope punch board
* score tape
* scissors
* paper trimmer
* 6x6 bobunny silver and gold collection paper
* 8 1/2 x 11 yellow cardstock
* light brown ink pad
* 5 small yellow brads.

The yellow card stock is my base and the liner to hold the envelopes. The envelopes and the pieces on outside is the Bobunny paper. I used a few Santa faces from the scraps of the envelops and a few gold squares to make the closures on the envelopes. I inked everything in light brown. Including the envelope holder base (yellow thing inside). I also fastened down the lid closure with the small yellow brads.

Let's move on to the photos now.

So, what do you think of my holder? Do you think you will be making one? If so, I'd love to see it.

Until next time, keep crafting.
