Summer ice cream card

Morning Crafters, I just wanted to pop in for a brief moment to show you a card I made. It is a yummy ice cream cone. Oh how I love ice cream in the summer time. MmMmMmMm

The file I used was one from scrapping with lisa designs . Linns scrap shack is the creator of the file. To me it doesn't matter who made it because I LOVE IT.

I used some textured tan cardstock (not sure who it is from) for the cone and for the ice cream I recycled a piece I got in the mail. It makes the ice cream look sooooo yummy. Reminds me when I was a kid there was "superman" ice cream that looked just like mine. I used a light blue brad that kinda matches the paper for the closure. You slide the card sideways to open it.

I am entering my Ice cream into a few challenges for SUMMER. The following is where I am entering.

* dream weaver stencils - summer
* Inspire Me Fridays -anything goes
* 365 cards - overlapped
* the pink elephant challenge- summer

Please come and check out the above links. There some awesome blogs.

  1. Rhonda, though I'm with you on ice cream for summer, I'm not seeing where you used the DW stencil. I'm assuming in the slideout? Can you post a pic of that part for the DW challenge? Thanks!

    1. im sorry i saw these instructions and it didnt say you HAD to use a stencil. "Now if you would like to join the challenge just create something that shouts "SUMMERTIME", then link up to mr. linky below and we will pop by and view your summer magic! If you don't have a blog but would like to join our fun, just email your design to me at: lynell@dreamweaverstencils.com and when I get back from CHA on the 23rd I will post it that week.

      Here is a sneak peek of one of the stencils that we are presenting to the retailers at CHA Summer (our bi-yearly trade show). And you could win this stencil if you join our challenge. We are giving away two. A #1 prize to the person who best interprets the challenge and #2 winner for best use of Dreamweaver products. So see?....you don't even have to use Dreamweaver products (of course we are thrilled when you do.)

      And don't forget to visit the other team member's blogs listed on the side bar for more summertime inspiration."

  2. You are right...we are giving people the opportunity to win #1 for best interpretation of the challenge and #2 for best usage of Dreamweaver products! So we will assume that you are trying for best interpretation of the challenge which is "summertime fun". Thanks for joining the challenge and submitting this darling card. Lynell
