snowman easel card

Good morning, I wanted to  share with you my very first easel card. It is a snowman one. Let it be known I have never made one of these types before. Always looked to challenging to me. I tried today, all day, to make this. He is a file from Creative Kuts over on facebook. You can also find her store right here . Cheryl, the owner, was a big help to me .

I know someone who loves snowmen and I am going to give my snowman to her.

Let's get on with the show shall we?

I used a JPEG of the file and cut it all out by scissors. I couldn't get the cricut to work because it was not cutting up and down like I had it, instead it was cutting everything side ways. I wasted so much paper that way.

Let's just say it like this Snowman 4 - Me 1 .

I got so mad at him he won't lay flat, I glued his toes to the base. I used 2 Christmas stamps I had in my stamp stash. There nothing special, just from Michael's dollar bin.

I am entering my snowman into the following challenges before this post gets to long and he melts to a puddle.

* Decorate to Celebrate- challenge #86 - anything goes
* Through The Craftroom Door's challenge- Anything goes
* MilkCoffee- lot of layers (he is all layered)
* Creative fingers challenge blog - challenge #53- anything goes

Thanks for stopping by . I can't wait to see yours.
